Does anyone have info 'link' on Tickets ? Do you need Tickets? Where is it? What time does it start? Do you need to get there early? (first come first serve)
When I went 2 years ago, I just showed up outside Radio City at like 5 AM, and I got the pass there. Then I waited on line about an hour and a half before the draft start, then the line moved slowly and we got in.
nfl draft This was how the draft was run two years ago, and I cannot imagine it's any different. You have to wait in line for tickets, the ticket office opens at 6am. Then, once you get your ticket, you have to kill some time, and you cannot begin lining up to enter the draft until 10am, doors open at 11am. The below was taken from the NFL Draft website in 2006: As in the past, tickets will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the box office on the day of the draft. However, local ordinances prohibit lining up on the sidewalks directly in front of or around Radio City Music Hall. Fans may line up on the morning of the NFL Draft at the direction of Radio City personnel. Fan entry will take place at the "Carriage Door Entrance" located on 50th street between 5th and 6th avenues. Doors will open at 11 a.m..
But if you stay until the last pick in the draft, you get tickets for next years draft and don't have to get in line at 5 AM
Yeah, I got to Radio City at like 2:00 AM. I thought I was in the back of the line, but it actually turned out to be the front of the line (the security guards pulled a fast one on all of us). Getting tickets is first come first, but you are given designated seats so you can come back to the draft at your leisure. I had to kill time from 6:00 AM or so when they gave the tickets until the draft started. I went back to my old college and napped in a lounge using my old ID . Great experience, but wouldn't do it again. It was an exhausting day and a half. I'm happy they sped it up but the draft takes way too freakin long.
