    1) Browns-Garrett
    2) 49ers-Thomas
    3) Bears-Adams
    4) Jaguars-Howard
    5) Titans-Hooker

With three weeks left to the draft there looks to be 9 players who are candidates to go in the top 5. The other four would be: Fournette, Trubisky, Lattimore, and Allen

Of these four Allen is probably the BPA, but could they really sell that to the fans?

if you can't trade out, but i think you could, it would have to be fournette from your list, mike williams or foster if we are not restricted to your list

Trade down for what you can get or make a very risky QB pick planning to trade the guy to the team that comes knocking right after the pick when they realize they missed their chance to trade up for him.

Fournette would be the obvious choice without the injury issues last year. A RB with injury issues is the only thing riskier than a QB you want to trade right away.

    Best choice: Trade Down

Otherwise, personally, I'm taking Christian McCaffrey. Arguably Reuben Foster is a better pick here, but I'm incredibly high on McCaffrey. If reports are right that Morton will run a West Coast Offense, then McCaffrey would be a tremendous asset in that system.

There's also Lattimore but ehhh... just trade down.

It's gotta be Fournette. He checks all the blocks. He fills a need, BPA, offense, helps the QB (whoever that will be), best value.

Almost would say screw it and get Mahomes at that point, but Lattimore should be the pick even though most of you hate him because you think he's Dee Milliner which he's the furthest thing from. He's actually good at football Dee never was, just a product of Bama

The Dee Milliner comparisons (and concerns) were mostly health related (being able to stay on the field).

    As for 'BPA' Jonathan Allen:

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/03/02/alabama-team-doctor-says-jonathan-allens-shoulders-arent-a-problem/

"Allen is projected to be one of the first players off the board in April, but Alabama’s team doctor thinks some teams may be taken aback when they get a look at scans of Allen’s shoulders. Allen has dealt with labral tears that required surgery in both of his shoulders and left him with moderate arthritis, but Dr. Lyle Cain said that no one should be put off because Allen hasn’t been impacted on the field."

Reuben Foster, Derek Barnett, or Ryan Ramczyk. The last two you try and trade down.

My choice is DeShaun Watson. He's everything you need in a QB. Risky? Absolutely, any QB is a risk, but the reward could be huge. Jets may not be in a position to take a player like him for a long time.

That would be the worst outcome we could expect for the top 5 picks (unless a QB hungry team is looking to trade with us).

With those guys off the board Allen is easily the BPA.

If I can't trade down I am looking at him against the top pass rushers, QBs and WRs.

With RB and CB so deep I really don't think I could rationalize talking one over Allen.

Even though it would be a missed opportunity, ending up with Allen, Watson, Williams, etc. doesn't sound all that bad.

I don't know why the interest in Watson is so lukewarm at best for this guy. I mean great season capped off with a national championship. We are in dire straits at his position and yet he is almost never talked about in the NY media. Hackenberg is really messing up our team and he hasn't even played yet. The GM has his reputation on the line with picking him and no positives have been said about Hackenberg since the Jets took him. I hope Macc has some Al Davis in him and just block out the noise and go get us a QB..

Maybe because Hackenberg is going to be our guy. Stop with all this nonsense about him being terrible. The guy has all the tools, just needs a chance. If he doesn't play well, then next year address the QB in a QB rich draft.

Hack I think has a higher ceiling then any of the other guys maybe outside of Kizer. Should Kizer fall to the 3rd round, I'd be highly interested

I can't take credit as I saw this in another location but what about the scenario:

    TRADE: Texans trades 25th, 89th, 2018 1st, for Jets 6th, 150th, Sheldon Richardson.

If the Texan threw in their 2nd, I'd be game for this.
