I thought he had a pretty good, solid game.

However, he had that one huge whiff on the tackle that let up a 38 yard run on that last drive. If he'd made that tackle, it probably would have been the best game he's played all year.

What were your thoughts on his game today?

He finally showed up to play....... probably because he knew it was nationally televised. He sure danced around after every play he made

Decent game, left a couple of key plays on the field that he gets paid to make, but in terms of effort one of his best this year IMO.

He played well in coverage but the missed tackle stands out the most. He also dances around after making routine plays and it annoys me.

He played great in pass coverage and made a few plays. He also missed some tackles but he also gets analyzed more closely than every other player on the field because of the season he has had.

Outside of the whiff it was his best game of the year. He still needs to work on the tackling though.

He still has the same problems. He's a great coverage safety, but for the life of him, he can't make a tackle. I saw 2 missed tackles today that led to 5-10 extra yards for the receiver. I don't think his tackling will ever improve.

He played for himself, not for the team. It was look at me when he did things right and nowhere to be found when he was at fault.

Rhodes did great, as did the entire D. Losing at the end though is tough to accept for a so called #1 D.

    He was ok.

I'm still sick of how he always faces the end of the field and has that look after every deflection and tackle for a loss, and it's always combined by the baseball call commonly known as "SAFE!"

We moved one game further towards netting a 2nd round pick for him.

I thought it was so so... in a game that was yearning for a big defensive play he didn't really do anything to make me say this guy is a great safety. His missed tackle stands out the most and it defines his season. Even when he plays his best game of the year he's afraid to tackle.

We all know Rhodes can play against the pass, thats never been a problem. But his play against the run imo is horrible. And the fact that he prances around even if he does make a tackle, imo makes it even worse.

When he stopped Norwood in the backfield on one play today, Norwood basically pancaked him and got himself tackled. Then Rhodes proceeded to Dance around like he actually did something.

I am so tired of Rhodes' dancing and prancing all game long, its honestly Pathetic. If you want to dance around on the field then Lay a FUCKING LICK!

Agreed. He did have some decent plays but for the most part you can tell he was just trying to make himself look more presentable in deals to get him out of town.

He tries to go for the HR rather than go for the single or bunt sacrafice. No need to go and try and pull a Reggie Nelson and go for the swipe rather than the tackle.
