He actually held on to a pass and injured himself falling down from shock.

He got hit on a kick return, actually looked like it hurt. It was on the 15 yard line by the first person to reach him though, better off kneeing it.

He might be the worst return man in the NFL.

So Spandola has one drop and we don't see him again, I would take him over Gates.

i think Gates ran it out 3 times yesterday, all to the 15yard line. Nice job, dopey. I was hoping the kicker would just kick it out of the endzone for the extra 5 yards.

I loved the way Gates muffed two of the kicks, awkwardly gathered the ball in, then took a knee and starting flicking the ball under and over his leg like he was some sort of magician with the ball.

Great stuff, Clyde. Now try catching the damn thing, preferably for another team.

It's time to cut him and trade for Cotchery from the dismal Steelers.

LOL! I was actually thinking the same thing during the game, i.e. better to have Gates take a knee than bring it out. Can't ever recall rooting for a touchback when my team is receiving until Gates got back there.

    Hahaha he is so bad.

  19. I'm not saying Gates is anything special or even serviceable..but don't you guys ever get sick of constantly having to have a scapegoat? It's pretty ridiculous.
