12 pm- Miami OH at Florida (ESPN) - I've been waiting a long while to see John Brantley play QB (mostly because it means Tebow's gone), and I expect him to be lights out this season. I don't expect it to be anything even resembling a close game, but this is all that's on at 12. Best prospects to watch: UF QB John Brantley, UF OL Mike Pouncey, UF S Will Hill 2 pm- Nap - That Florida game will be a beating by this point, and I'll need to stay awake later for... 3:30 pm- UConn at Michigan (ABC) / Purdue at Notre Dame (NBC) - I'll be watching the former to root for the Huskies, but I'm more excited to see how Michael Floyd, Dane Crist, and that Notre Dame offense reacts to the new coach. The Huskies winning would mean that they deserve some consideration on a national level, but Kelly simply NEEDS a win. Also, I can't wait to see Robert Marve play a little bit for Purdue, and Rich Rod screw the pooch trying to play three different QBs. Best prospects to watch UM-UC: UC RB Jordan Todman, UC LB Greg Lloyd, UM DE Ryan Van Bergen Best prospects to watch ND-Purdue: ND WR Michael Floyd, ND TE Kyle Rudolph, Purdue DE Ryan Kerrigan 7:45/8 pm- Oregon State vs. TCU in Texas (ESPN) / LSU at UNC (ABC) Quizz and his brother James going back to Texas to play as underdogs against a top ten opponent? I'm liking the upset there. TCU had a fantastic season last year but I don't think they're quite as untouchable as some think they are. There's going to be a lot of pressure on them playing just one BCS team this year, and the Beavers are just trying to make an impact. As for LSU-UNC, if not for this week's suspensions I would have been glued to this game. I was looking forward to the prospects, not seeing another Jordan Jefferson egg-laying. Hopefully for the Tigers their defense can stop the depleted UNC offense (Little-Draughn-Houston), and one of their wideouts can break a deep one to win 7-0. Best prospects to watch OSU-TCU: OSU DT Stephen Paea, OSU RB Jacquizz Rodgers (returner at least), TCU LB Tank Carder Best prospects to watch that aren't suspended LSU-UNC: LSU CB Patrick Peterson, UNC LB Bruce Carter, UNC LB Quan Sturdivant Worst prospect to watch: LSU QB Jordan Jefferson, because he's terrible.
NC State vs. Western Carolina- only because I'm an NC State grad. Otherwise there is absolutely no reason to watch this game. Check that....it's not even on TV. Radio, here I come.
UConn is a reasonably good team, but considering their lack of a football pedigree, if Michigan loses in the home opener to them at the newly refurbished Big House, Rich Rod can probably start polishing his resume.

floridas offense looks awful so far. and michigan st has pretty much taken it to western michigan, boring start to the day. although the Monfils match has been good, till they went to the shrapova game, and she is dominating. Just won her 9th straight game, about to put capra away
