When is their luck going to run dry and when are we going to get a real owner that knows how to put an organization together with the best qualified people in their field. The Packers have an up and coming guy in Eliot Wolf and the architect of the Chiefs is Chris Ballard and one of these guys should be hired tomorrow to turn this nightmare around. Leaving Mike M. and Toilet Bowel in place shows how much Woody cares about the loyal Jets fans.
Running a professional organisation vs. complete clowns is not luck. It just means you are playing against inferior leadership and 2nd class franchises. Maybe if the other teams could actually play football Pats wouldn't have it so easy. And no win is a certainty at this time of the year.
Chris Ballard refused an interview with the Jets if I remember correctly. Along with about seven other front office candidates that wanted nothing to do with working with a dysfunctional ownership and power structure. Not to mention Woody hires general managers with stipulations. I.e. You need to trade Revis, you need to sign Revis, etc.
https://www.google.com/amp/www.nj.c...r_head_coach_and_general_manager_updating.amp Declined interviews: Front Office Eric DeCosta - Ravens Chris Ballard - Chiefs Ryan Pace - Saints George Paton - Vikings Coaches Gary Kubiak - Ravens Considering there's only 32 of these jobs in the NFL that's pretty embarrassing. Not to mention Ryan Pace accepting the Bears job and Kubiak went to the Broncos shortly after. Can't say I blame any of them either.
