The Jets have traded Abraham to the Redskins for Patrick Ramsey, 2nd round pick this year, first round pick next year.

    THIS HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED

This would be a very good trade, at least it's by far the best we could get. We'd get a 1st for Abe that would most likely be higher than the 29th we could get from the Broncos, plus we get a 2nd! We'd have 2 2nds, 3 3rds (comp.) and 2 1sts next year. That's great trade bait to land anyone we want.

That would have sounded better if you changed Redskins to Falcons and Ramsey to Shaub.

If it is true, I at least hope the Redskins have the shittiest season ever next year so we can get a high 1st rounder.

WHY? You would rather have just #29? That makes no sense...we would make like bandits with this deal....

    PRETTY PLEASE GO THROUGH!

Sounds like a Belichick type tradeto me. Sucker them into a first rounder the following year. It's the only way you ever get a #1. Teams are always more willing to worry about the #1 later. Let's all be thankful we're not Redskins fans. Not sure why this trade would bother you. You get a starter and you begin to stockpile draft picks. Fits the rebuilding philosophy. You need to embrace the philosophy....

This would be FANTASTIC you guys seriously overrate the value of any 27 year old DE that is going to demand a giant contract.

Great trade if it's true. Let's hope the Cowboys and Eagles take a leap forward next year and crush the Skins.

This would be a great deal. A first rounder and a second rounder plus a young QB who at worst is a good backup. Forgedaboudit.

uggghhhhhh......that sounds terrible. Skins defense would be disgusting if we make this trade.

If you think about it though, there isn't much market for Abe. We all wanted a low first for him, but this gives us a low second, a first next year, and a QB. At first it sounds bad, but thinking about it, it might not be all that bad. Plus gets us another $8 million cap room.
