Holgorsen's one of the best offensive minds in college football. I think this will be an upgrade for that program.
I'm not either. I see it as sort of a slap in the face to the current head coach, even if most of them are close to retiring. If you're a top level coordinator, go out and find another job. There's no need for a lot of these guys to stick around - go out and make your own legacy.
It also has to be weird for the players especially if it is during the season and the team is struggling a bit. Would the typical player start to tune out the head coach after a while? It's reasonable to think that would be the case.
I was working a celeb golf tournament a couple weeks ago and got Coach Stewart a beer. Couple weeks later he is out. Crazy how the world is.
