    Welcome buddy! Boyd has great character, and charisma. Great leader in the locker room. Interested to see how we work him in.

    Let's merge the other thread in with this title.

    Good pick. He'll beat out Simms as the #3 and hopefully become the backup at the end of the year. Wanted Mettenberg, but Boyd is a good risk pick

    I have no problem with this. He gets to develop for a year and depending on how Geno looks Boyd will get a chance to compete for the starting job in '15. If Geno is good then we have ourselves a good backup QB.

    That was one of the better QB camps I've seen, I'd love to see it all.

    I liked Geno Smith's Gruden film. He said "97 WANDA" like 6 times. I had it stuck in my head for days.

    "Peyton Manning runs the best 97Wanda I ever saw.....Gimme a 97Wanda...."

    It was hilarious. If you did a 97Wanda drinking game, you'd be dead inside of 3 minutes.

    Well he tries to make the qbs comfortable to get their guards down but he usually goes after them. He didn't seem like he was going after Boyd at all.

    WVU recruited both Geno and Boyd out of high school and when Geno committed Boyd broke his commitment and went to Tennessee...a few years later Geno puts 70 on Clemson in the Orange Bowl....and now they are teammates once again. How ironic!
