Big fan of Izzy! Great value here in the 5th.

 

There were a few other players available that I liked here but this was a good value for us.

 

And a much needed one with Ty Johnson out and Breece coming off injury. 1400+ yards rushing, 20TDs, 20 years old. Beast. Probably a starter until Breece is back.

No such thing as too many playmakers.

Have to make it tough to game plan against. Also, not confident Breece will be 100% for start of season.

 

I really like the rest of the draft beyond the 1st round. I Realize the board really didn't fall the way any of us wanted, I still think I would've rather had JSN instead. Despite that though.. I can't be mad at this draft overall. Well done. Excited about this kid.

Izzy and Breece maybe we'll see an old fashioned T-Formation. Shades of Conka and Kiick.

 

Same here. Disappointed in the first round mainly due to losing Jones on unnecessary pick swap, but overall I think JD did a solid job. Let's just hope the kids pan out the way JD/Saleh see them.

 

On the ESPN telecast, they gave a Tevin Coleman comp, which is interesting considering we saw what an older, past his prime version of Coleman did in this offense.

 

He worked as a kick returner too averaging over 22 yards per return. I love the pick here.
