This Is actually a very under the radar pick.. A "sleeper" In terms of value. I'm watching some of his stuff now and I like what I see.. Has experience at LT and RT. A lot of experience playing with 39 starts at the collegiate level, blocked for Kenny Pickett. If he doesn't get hurt, he likely goes far higher. Obviously.. The injury history Is always going to be a concern, especially for this team. However.. I'm stoked we got more OL help. Well done, JD.
Carter Warren OT, PITT Height: 6-6, Weight: 311 Had he not gotten injured in 2022, he would've been long gone. Accurate punches in pass pro. Uses his length well. Loads of experience. Good anchor despite higher center of gravity. Can start as a rookie. Not insane upside but higher floor. (Chris Trapasso) A-
" Obviously, this was a need for the #Jets." It wasn't obvious to some. I am sure they will be here soon admitting they were wrong... Right.
I am looking at some of the stuff in 2021. Not bad at all. Last year only played 3.5 games before injury. Run blocking improved every year, and he was always a solid pass blocker. Maybe there is a chance Rodgers will survive this year after all! Btw, I think this is the same pick Pitts gave to NE to get up to get Broderick Jones. Imagine if Warren turns out... OK let's not go that far. Solid pick by JD!
Still upset we missed out on Broderick Jones, but at least we've done the best possible job bolstering the OL with our non-first rounders.
We can’t say JD isn’t trying to fix this OL once and for all….. good solid picks. Becton unfortunately hasn’t stayed healthy but other than that not looking bad on paper. Can’t wait to see the newest additions in camp …
You predicted we won' take one just last night, and we took one with the very next pick after you prediction. And instead of admitting you were wrong, you act like you saw this all along. Bow to the fool, I expected no less.
