There is a welcome party for the Jets to Florham Park, NJ. I think the time is 4-6 today. I live in FP however the only reason I remembered this is that I just saw two Jets vans drive by. Does anyone know which players will be there.. if any?

Wow, was I the only TGG'er that went to it? I work in Florham Park, so I went right after work. I got there around 5:15, grabbed some food, grabbed some stickers and stuff, and walked around for a bit. I didn't recognize most of the Jets players signing autographs (they probably only sent the undrafted rookie fa's to it). I don't think a lot of people there recognized most of the players either, especially since most of the people there were kids. Hell, I'm 6'1, 300+ pounds - I probably could have thrown on a Jets polo and some khakis (that's what most of them were wearing) and signed some autographs. :breakdance:

To be fair, they did have D'Brick there. That guy is pretty big. Not fat, just big and tall. He was mobbed by the kids. He looked really bored though- maybe he's shy or something?

Also, I heard Wayne was there earlier, but people were mobbing him so much that they had to whisk him away to safety. I wanted to talk to him for a bit, to ask him if knew my old supervisor. He's married to her sister-in-law. She said he's a really great guy, really down to earth (but we all knew that anyway). All in all, it was ok, mostly for the kids. I was only there for 1/2 an hour, and I was by myself, so I got bored and left.

Oh, and some guy from a local newspaper interviewed me. In retrospect, I totally could have gotten in a plug for TGG.com, but it slipped my mind. Sorry Petrozza!

Ok.. so I went to this thing cause I basically live down the street. I'm 16 and I had a good time. However, I was also hangin with friends. So I got autographs from the following.

    D'Brickshaw Ferguson
    Kellen Clemens
    Omowale Dada
    Brad Smith
    Eric Smith
    Anthony Schlegel
    Blake Costanzo
    D.J. Fitzpatrick
    Brennan Schmidt
    Ben Graham
    Craig Baley
    Will Thompson

I have a 98 on my auto's and there is no #98 listed but I think that is what D'Brick used when he signed his name. It was a cool thing to meet the players and actually have a chance to talk to the future of the Jets. Chrebet was there and was pretty much mobbed. I was in the front of the line to get his autograph when they took him away for an interview and then he hopped in his car and left. Kinda sucked cause hes my favorite Jet ever. So close

Unfortunately, I missed Kellen Clemens and Ben Graham, I guess because I got there so late. It's a shame no one took pictures.

They did if you asked them... personally I didn't but if you asked they would have taken them. There were also a few more players there which I just didn't get to.

By the way Anthony Schlegel is the coolest guy. He was kinda off to the side and there wern't many people there so we had a convorsation about how stuff is going so far. It was cool.. he talked to me like a knowledgeable football fan instead of just another stupid fan. I'm definitly rooting for him the rest of the way.

I guess I'm not up to date on how all the members react to things and I did mean sarcasm.
