if all of the "govt agencies" you mention agree that the climate is changing, then why do the coastal states continue to allow building along the waterfront.

perhaps its the juicy tax revenue??

You may well be right, as money works wonders in helping people look the other way. On an even more sinister note, maybe some palms have been greased by developers who don't care about the long-term consequences of their developments?

    Obama was president when:
    • Russia annexed the Crimean peninsula
    • Russia's proxies took over Donbass
    • Russia got involved in the Syrian Civil War and prevented Assad from being removed
    • United States refused to provide lethal weapons to the Ukraine right after Russia took over Crimea (Trump overturned that decision later)
    • Russia supposedly interfered in the 2016 election
Now, please continue making more moronic statements... :D

I guess that all the ball sucking, and ass kissing that Trump bestowed on Putin has escaped your thoughts.

It's less the tax revenue than the fact that we're just a couple of generations into the climate change era. In two more generations nobody but the ultra-wealthy will be building on the coasts because the reality of sea level rise will be here in all it's glory.

For now the penalties for building on the coasts are mainly in private enterprise. The insurance companies who will not insure coastal properties for flood and storm damage, forcing owners and builders to rely on an increasingly fragile federal insurance system that could vanish overnight once the costs begin to overrun the premiums.

Climate change is a reality that we're all going to have to deal with at some point. These cycles occur over tens of thousands of years naturally and what we're dealing with now is what happens when powerful human forces interact with the natural cycles.

We think of climate change as being all about temperature and sea level rise but the reality is that we've spread out across the globe during an amazing era of climate stability. Now that we're cycling to more uncertain times, with a huge assist from all the CO2 we're emitting and all the fresh water we're using, things are likely to be fairly grim in many populated areas. The third world isn't going to take the brunt of the action either, just a share of it.

All empty words. What did Putin achieve on the international stage while Trump was in office? I just listed Obama's "accomplishments."

Well let’s see, when Trump hosted Putin and his lackey in the Oval Office, only the Russian press was allowed in. Such a Patriot. When Trump & Putin had their summit meeting, Trump said that he believed Putin over his own intelligence agencies.

No American President has been a subservient to a Russian dictator in history. Do you think it might have something to do with Trump’s business dealings?

Trump also pleaded with the G7 countries to allow Russia to regain their position. Oh yeah it was Obama that put sanctions on the Russians & convinced the other countries to throw Russia out.

Once again... What did Putin gain while Trump was in the White House? He gained a whole lot while Obama was president.

No other president had US mass media completely against him, no wonder he didn't want to see them.

and you mean Trump didn't believe that Russia offered bounties for US soldiers in Afghanistan? He turned out to be correct, as that claim was recently retracted. Keep watching CNN.

As for the sanctions, here's a whole list of Trump's sanctions (CNN didn't mention this, right?): https://www.brookings.edu/blog/orde...rd-the-u-s-administrations-actions-on-russia/

    Need more time.

Using the point Russia influenced the 2016 election under Obama, to benefit Trump, as a ball licker move is some damn impressive mental gymnastics though.

You can enjoy your Fox News idiocy. I usually watch the BBC for international news.

If Trump felt that way, why in the world didn’t he stand up to him. Trump was a Putin lackey, who did nothing to stand up to him. Instead Trump felt the need to insult, and demean our allies.

Don't forget about the moronic Iranian Nuclear Deal that he signed after this report slipped through the media relatively undetected. This was actually verified.

What does it have to do with Fox News? I listed events that happened during Obama's presidency that benefited Putin. All you've said is empty rhetoric repeatedly fed by CNN and the likes - no actions, just opinions.

Stand up to Putin? As how? Start WWIII? He did send lethal weapons to the Ukraine, unlike Obama.

Note the word "supposedly." You may want to look up in the dictionary what that means.
