This might be the most interesting week of the season so far. So many interesting games.

This is when football really gets going...

Bengals on top of Jacksonville by 2 TDs early.

Detroit beating Chicago 13-10 right now.

The Rams are coming on strong with a 7-0 lead on the Cardinals. The Cardinals need to get the ball in Breaston's hands, eh Cakes?

The lowly Chiefs beating the Bucs 21-3.

And the NFL continues to sort itself out....

The Chiefs and Bungles are winning against other teams besides the Jets. Perhaps we are not as bad as we thunk we were.

...or maybe we still suck. Who knows.

Andre Johnson lost that 100+ yard game streak...that sucks.

    In other WR news:

    Breaston: 2 for 39 0 TD

    Johnson: 8 for 94 1 TD

    Hermanism at its best:

KC blows a big lead vs TB and now both go to OT.

And game over, TB wins making Herm's Chiefs a whopping 1-7.

Amazing that KC had a 21-3 lead too.

Whitworth got ejected for punching a guy who tried to gouge his eyes out.

Whitworth's helmet got taken off and the dirty POS on the Jaguars...

A mixture of the Haynesworth play stomping on a helmetless Gurode and Wilford trying to poke out Jacobs' eye.

In the Packers game, a stupid INT by a Titans player. You see it all the time. Either the players are just plain stupid and don't know to knock it down on 4th down or they're trying to stat pad. 4th down, low throw. No chance for a return. Don't catch it. Hurt the at the end of the first half, because their drive ended just out of FG range.

In the second half, a bad call missed. Chillar interfered with a Titan and even the police officers behind the end zone were signaling for a flag.

Some great games this week. Multiple games tied in the 4th quarter.

I guess it could be stat padding, but I think it's more likely that they really don't understand the game very well (understanding it is very different from playing it well), and even more, they don't see the big picture in a game at all (which probably serves them well most of the time). I think that this is true of most professional athletes (especially talented ones), which is why they usually make bad announcers and bad coaches/managers.

Our favorite 3rd stringer (Brooks Bollinger) may get some playing time for Dallas. He's got his helmet on on the sidelines and they're talking about him going in.

I always thought he was a good guy, but he just sucked.
