i didnt realize NFL history got erased after 5 years passed. the whole point of the original comment was that we are more equipped to deal with the pats under bowles because we dont beat our chests and run our mouthes. but when we did that we had plenty of success vs the pats. which was my point... it doesnt matter if your run your mouth or keep it shut. all that matters is talent and execution. the first couple years under rex we beat the pats plenty. the last few we didnt win much but if you expected a team with geno at qb and and a terrible defense to beat the superbowl champs then you are simply being irrational. we lost by a total of 3 points in the 2 games last year. we played them as well as anyone in the league, despite being terrible and running out the leagues worst QB
F'ing Bellichick and his mind games. Lewis will play and I am sure Bowles is ready for him. Huuuuge game. Let's win this one and I am taking the day off tomorrow to celebrate and go drunk.
Know anything about James White? Every time a reporter mentions how losing a pass catching running back will hurt vs the vulnerable Jets defense, a swarm of Pats fans comes and brings up this kid's name. I don't know much about him but I looked into him and he doesn't look anywhere near explosive as Lewis, but that was just a cursory glance. Wondering if anyone's seen more.
Game day fellas... I hope to be back on here at 4:30 talking about a fucking New York Jets win. Let's go!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So NFL network just spent an entire segment questioning how good the Jets #1 D is based on the quality of offenses they've faced, then followed that up with a segment on how great the Patriots D has supposedly been this season while sucking off Willie McGinest on stage. The bias is real folks.
to be fair, i dont think its really a poor question to ask how good the jets defense is. we know they are good, i mean i dont think anyone really debates that. but we have played 4 crap QBs and luck who has struggled all year and they were banged up at WR. every team we faced has had offensive line issues, and we havent had much of a pass rush. we are clearly a top 5 defense. but are we as good as the #1 ranking? maybe, maybe not. pats defense is the definition of mediocure. they play not to lose, and try and hold the fort until the offense puts them up 2 scores and then take advantage of offenses once they become 1 dimensional. if you dont fall behind big to new england, their D is pretty much pedestrian
