You know what.....after watching the video, mark sanchez for the most part had a great game, I mean don't get me wrong, he committed his rookie mistakes but besides the first pick and the fumble, he was able to move the ball and make some plays. I feel like our receivers really didn't help him at all......there was alot of critical drops. All in all i feel great about sanchez having a great game against miami. Next draft we NEED to draft a WR.

Is it just me, or is Stuckey looking more and more like a liability?

he's had 2 bad games. He never dropped a pass before it. I need to see more from him before I label him a liability.

and his YAC is fun to watch because he never wants to go down.

What really troubles me about this video is that it doesnt seem Schotty gave Sanchez the chance to throw the ball downfield. I saw a lot of quick slants and screens. Sanchez has really shined with his deep ball game. I could be wrong, maybe the times they were planning on throwing downfield were the times Sanchez got sacked because the Saints had too good of coverage.

You have Darren Sharper and that pass rush coming at you with a Rookie QB. You don't take many shots downfield.

Roman Harper ain't too shabby either.

It wasn't the right game to do it. Those were the best safeties they faced all year.

Saints DB's were on our WR's like white on rice. No wonder Sanchez had such trouble. Seems like NO had a brilliant defensive gameplan. Schottenheimer has really got to get more creative and stop relying so much on the dink and dunk stuff.

Love that the oline let Grant rush through unblocked 3 times. WAKE THE FUCK UP.

Woody got completely blown up on a lot of plays

Those non penalties (facemask, wtf and PI) piss me off.

Their make-up call for not calling the facemask was PATHETIC. National pussy league indeed.

Our OLine got destroyed, Sanchez was under constant pressure all day.

That TD pass to Brad Smith when he was 1 on 1 with Greer was underthrown. Should have thrown over the top.

The more I see it the more blame i shift the blame to the oline -- maybe 60% Sanchez 40% OLine.

Sanchez needs to stop telegraphing his throws. Good grief.

What facemask are you referring to?

5:53...Woody gets completely blown up and Grant just drags Sanchez's face down to the ground.

That wasn't a facemask. I jumped out of my seat when I saw it live.. but the replay clearly shows he grabbed him by the side of the helmet near the chinstrap.

Hrmm you might be right, I still have the game on DVR, I'll check it later. I think I've finally calmed down enough to rewatch the game.

Jets receivers don't scare anyone, however they still need to catch the ball when it's thrown to them, I also think the game is still too fast for sanchez and he is not making all of his reads.

    What about Marvin Harrison?

I think if Schotty calls a little more max protect, the refs actually call a penalty or two, and a couple of catches are made, that game is won regardless of the turnovers.

How many times did they throw the fackin slant? I have to watch it again but I'm starting to wonder if Schotty knows how to protect a QB. How about getting your TE and RB in there to block more. He thinks protecting the QB is fucking throwing a screen. Pretty maddening.

I don't think Stuckey was all that bad. That first drop the DB was all over him, he was covered on the next incompletion and the third one was all Sanchez. The only big mistake he made was on that last interception, where he didn't cut back and just let the db get in front of him. I couldn't tell if he saw the ball in time or not, but he should have been more aware. He might have some trouble getting open but I don't think he's a liability.

Bump. I figured this would get buried after the Edwards trade, and I know a lot of you want to watch this.

I have great timing making these videos. Last week, I did it late Saturday night. This week, I do it at midnight the night before the Jets make the biggest trade they've made...in like 14 months.

Re-watch the Stuckey plays, and tell me Braylon won't make a difference.

I like watching Sanchez play. I thought I'd watch this and wince all through it but even when Sanchez was horrible there were some things that were good to see. He moves really well with his poor ball protection causing most of the issues at the moment. They can coach that out of him and will.

He has really good zip on the ball, although his timing was really crappy against the Saints as he kept throwing behind receivers, both in crossing patterns and when he had them on seam routes. Keller would probably have had a long TD on one catch but he had to catch the ball on his back shoulder and that slowed him enough for both defenders to make the tackle immediately after that.

The things he did well though he did really well. The two scrambles for a 1st down were great to watch, including the dive on the second one when he was worried he wouldn't get there. It wasn't even a risky move because the dive took him low and out of range to be hit.

The two interceptions at the end were a downer but both came in no choice passing situations and were understandable. The early int was the game changer and it was depressing, but again that's coachable.

All things considered if that was his rookie game we've got a lot of fun coming our way now with Edwards online.
