Week 14: Tennessee Titans (3-9) at New York Jets (7-5)

We gotta win this one and the Dallas game no questions, and no excuses not to, I will feel comfortable going into that final NE and BUF two game stretch to end the season at 9-5.

 

Must-win game. Beat the Titans and Romo-less Cowboys and then go have some fun at home against NE.

 

For sure. Need to win the next 2. Get to 9-5 with 2 games left and split the last 2 could get us into the playoffs

 

Just win. I don't care if they win 2-0. Just win baby!

 

I hope Bowles comes up with some creative looks to maybe try to confuse him.

If this game was on the road I would be skeptical but its a home game against a non-playoff team. There should be no such thing as a letdown game from here on out.

If there is we have problems. Every game is a playoff game. That started today and now we're 1-0. Lets make it 2-0.

 

Remember Mariota is still transitioning from a spread and we have a complex to scheme, he struggled a TON against Rex's defense. Hopefully we have Revis and Marcus back, too. Delanie Walker and Mariota's legs are the biggest threats.

 

7-5 record with last four Titans-Cowboys-Patriots-Bills

If 10-6 is needed for playoffs there really are no moral victories if we look good but manage to lose next week.

 

Damn that 7-5 record looks great next to our name. Mariota's legs scare me but we should handle the Titans. Just win baby.

 

No excuse not to? Please. That's ridiculous. Mariota is having a great rookie season. He's smart, accurate and can run the ball as well. He rushed for something like 112 yards today. With our slow LBs he could easily do the same to us. If Revis and Williams are out again, he could stand in the pocket and pick us apart.

Dallas is a different matter, but Tennessee is not a gimme.

 

Hoping Revis is back next week. Good sign he was on the sideline today and talking with team members. Hopefully he can practice on Wednesday.

 

10-6 and beating Buffalo should put the Jets in.

Buffalo did us a huge favor beating the Texans.

 

We need to hope that Oakland beats KC. That would help us too.

 

Ugh, another mobile quarterback game. Do I have to watch Demario Davis try and stop large gains up the middle with his elite tackling?

 

Hey, you think it's easy to miss all those tackles? He's worked very hard to refine his ability to miss tackles.

 

I am going to enjoy this Giants win for a little while, then start thinking about Mariota and the Titans.

 

We need 10 wins so all must wins going forward..this team has a terrible record. We got to bury them from fist qtr on

 

No way we look good if we lose next week

 

Eh with all these fuckups at 6-5/6-6, 9-7 might get it. I don't want to count on it though, but I've been predicting 8-8/9-7 from the start, so we're right on track.

 

Hopefully Darrelle Revis and Marcus Williams can return next week. Hosting the (3-9) Titans at home sounds easy, but they looked pretty good today.
