Houston/Detroit blown call in the first quarter. Ball hit a Houston player on a Detroit punt, but the call was blown on the field and then they failed to overturn it on the ensuing challenge.
These refs make the replacements look good. No way the ball changes directions 2 feet from the ground without hitting something. If this and the 49ers game fiasco from last week had happened with replacements this stuff would cause an uproar. Probably cost the Lions 3 pts at least.
I am always amazed how week after week professional defenses always bite on those Houston bootlegs, and Schaub gets a clean corner 99.98% of the time .. Amazing .. Set the efffing edge ..
^ last week was what was really crazy #2 D in the league against the #31 offense (without their top QB and top RB) and Jacksonville put up huge points and yardage
belichick does that and they still review the play lions do it and the correct ruling is called terrible
Schwartz foolishly challenges a TD and there's a 15 yard penalty Detroit gets robbed again because the runner was clearly down but since the dumbass refs didn't blow the whistle, it's a TD refs repeatedly robbing the Lions here. refs should be fired on the spot
Yea but the TD is an auto review, until Schwartz throws the flag, making the penalty that forces it to to become non reviewable. Schwartz handed the TD on a play sure to be called back.
Call me crazy but all these blown calls screwing the lions is karma for all the crap Suh gets away with and just doesn't care or admit it.
