Vikings get another primetime appearance! And so do the Redskins.

Joy but thats the rewards of making the playoffs. I dont think anyone bought into the Vikings tho so im surprised they gave em 3 primetime games especially this late in the season.

To be fair, this one doesn't really count since every team gets a TNF game. This is my wife's team and she also has AP on her fantasy team, while I have Alfred Morris, so the incentive to watch is there for us!

Its going to be a good game but yeah not exactly the most exciting matchup. I think the Vikings have a good shot to win tonight.

thursday night and monday night tend to have a lot of bad games. The last few years, they have had very few matchups of two good teams.

MNF this week is Miami/Tampa Bay

Only thing worse might be Miami/Jacksonville.

Gruden and Tirico will spend half the game talking about Incognito probably.

The interesting thing about this is the stranglehold NBC, CBS, and Fox have on the good games. Thursday night games are of course garbage - after all, the league hardly makes anything from them (they're paying themselves for the right to show them). Monday night games, however, just shouldn't be this bad. ESPN has been paying almost $2 billion per year to the NFL for the rights to the games and other content. That is symptomatic of just how bad ESPN's other programming is - they don't come close to making it up for the games themselves, but pump up NFL coverage 24/7 for months at a time. In their desperation to get the brand (and the promise that a playoff game would be considered in the future), they signed away the rights to get decent games for almost the entire season.

I wish NBC would get the rights to Thursday night. Currently they only get week 1 and thanksgivinf but they should have more games considering they only get 1 sunday game and 0 championship games.

NBC has a great deal considering they pay a lot less than ESPN, get better games, and have the ability to flex during the last seven weeks of the regular season.

I recall ESPN complaining a couple years ago, like in 2011.

    Shanahan should've accepted the penalty

would've made it a 49 yarder if they could stop them on third down

    key 10 yards

Bizarre decisions by Vikings to twice take a timeout as Washington is driving with no timeouts. This is a seriously bad team.

well, turned out to be a good game eh. the best TNF game I can recall.

Poor Ponder. Dude just keeps getting hurt. He's gotta be smarter. You have AP on your team dude, wtf are you doing diving for the pylon, just go out of bounds.

wow Frazier with a horrible timeout

Vikes call a couple of TOs to help the Redskins final drive. Weird.
