The more I think about it...the more it is bothering me. I had let it become a foregone conclusion that he was gone, so I set it aside.

ABE IS AN IMPACT PLAYER THAT THIS TEAM WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REPLACE!

He did exactly what most people on this board stated last summer that he had to do, if he were to warrant keeping long term. Stay healthy all 16 games a be a playmaker while doing so.

10.5 sacks on a mediocre defense, ravaged by injuries.
6 forced fumbles and 2 blocked passes.
    58 tackles.

Spread pretty evenly over what was just shy of a Pro Bowl year beaten by freak years from Vanden Bosch and Derrick Burgess. Freeney is consistent and had a great year.

My Point, he is one of the best and he proved he could be not only that, but durable, motivated and a general model citizen.

We have the cap room, and we are going to let one the league's pass rushers walk out the door. Amazing.

He does not fit in any 3-4 schemes. He does not want to be here. And he wants too much money.
