    How is it that Champ Bailey beat out Darrelle Revis in top vote getter for the Pro Bowl? Everyone who watched Revis play this year knows he is the BEST corner in football. Plus he went up against more elite WRs then Bailey did. Statisticly you cant compare the two either:

    Stats: int. / return yards / pDeff. / tackles
    Revis: 6 / 121 +td / 36 / 49
    Bailey: 2 / 14 / 14 / 69

    Revis beat him in every category, yes I know that Bailey had more tackles but if he defended more passes or intercepted them he would not have needed to make so many.

    its a popularity contest, pro bowl is considered a joke by many....alan faneca is the or one of the top o-lineman for the pro bowl, yet us jets fan know he is the weakest o-lineman on our team.

    I agree that it is a popularity contest I am simply stating that how is it that our man Revis who has such a following on this site, did not beat out a player who really hasn't been all that impressive since 2006?

    casual fans who know nothing see a name they've seen a million times and vote for him.

    you really think the 120 of us can make a difference? Maybe if we vote 150 times a day. I don't have that kind of time. You fail.

    That is what happens when you let the masses have a say in the process.
    They should only let the coaches, players and past pro bowlers vote. Then you would see a totally different pro bowl team.

    Nobody thinks Bailey is better than Revis at this point, including Bailey. The pro-bowl has been a joke for years now because of shit like this going down.

    Revis will make the pro bowl regardless of the fan voting. No need to vote.

    Fans vote should only count for like 1/4 of the votes... they should only be a kind of tie-breaker between votes given by Coaches, Players and guys like AP.

    The Pro Bowl is a popularity contest. Back in 06 and 07 when Kerry Rhodes was actually good I think he lost out to John Lynch.

    Revis is better then Champ Bailey. But Champ Bailey is still the bigger name right now.

    Yeah the Pro Bowl is BS, the league finally realizes how good Revis is.


    When it's all said and done he may be the best Jet in history.

    If your on the Jets then you don't get into the Pro Bowl. The only reason we had people make it last year was because of Farve. Just look how many Vikings players made it this year.
