Sweet thread - I'm pretty sure some guy created the exact same thing about 20 minutes ago. At least you put it in the right thread... Yeah, it does suck that we have a limited amount of picks, but that doesn't mean we can't acquire more during the draft.
Meh.. It is still early, we can always stock pile picks. Trade for picks, who knows. I'm not to worried. We have been making a splash in some facet the last two offseasons. I'm sure this offseason will be no different, considering how close we are. We are on the verge of being an elite team, you can't stop towards our ultimate goal now.
Edwards is a better player then we would have gotten at 3 and 5, so that is fine with me. I really want to trade back to mid 2nd round, with this draft we can fill our few holes/depth issues in later rounds.
I would like the Jets to acquire some more picks in this draft...hopefully they can land either a 3rd or a 4th. This draft is so deep in certain positions that some good players are going to slip through the cracks and go undrafted. Rex Ryan loves to find under the radar players for his defense, so we could see a couple UDFAs from this draft contribute down the road - the odds are against these guys succeeding though.
It's conditional and undisclosed....we'll know more down the road when it's announced. If it's based on playing time or being active...I say no pick will be given up.
Eagles don't have a 5th I think. We may even end up with a 4th flip which would actually work in our favor. I could be wrong. Eagles may even trade down from the 4th 5th just so we don't get the higher one.
The Eagles don't have a 5th cause they gave it to the Jets. The Jets gave the Eagles their 4th....part of the Lito deal. Trust me...I've been on top of this for a while.
Eagles traded their 5th in 2010 to the Rams to get Will Witherspoon, but received a fifth from the Saints in a trade during last year's draft. So we should be getting the Saints 5th, which is basically like having our own.
