We need a receiver, and we traded out of 35?? McCariens SUCKS. We NEED offensive explosion which we lack bigtime right now. Coles can't do it alone. We need speed at the other end spot. I hate this trade.
Yep, Jackson being a pat does not help either. I thought we were on course. Two solid OL then use 35 on playmaker. Nope.
McCareins was the best WR on the team in 04 when we had a real QB throwing the ball. Moss was worse in 04 than McCareins was last year and look at the year he had in 05. Besides, it takes 3 years for a WR to become productive. It is Cotchery's third year and he should break out this year. With Coles, McCareins and Cotchery, WR is waaaaaay down on the list of needs. Everybody clamors for "playmakers" but it is blocking and tackling that wins games.
McCariens was our best WR in 04 but he was also awful for half the year and decent for half the year. Saying he was our best WR in 04 doesn't say much because our passing game in 04 didn't have to do much and when it did against teams capable of stopping the run it failed.
How does anyone feel about taking Sinorice Moss if he was available. It would just be so nice to see MOSS lining up again, even if he isn't Santana...
JMac isnt the best anything. He is mediocre at best, dimal at worst. His hands, guts and route running all suck. I agree though that Cotchery could be good.
