I wonder if Tannenbaum intentionally set that up...thats pretty slick...

I cant agree more about the Revis pick, although we gave up alot to get him...I think hes exactly what the Jets are looking for...Strong, fast, physical, and playmaker on punt returns...the character of Revis is just a cherry on top

who gives a crap whether he was nice to the limo driver or not? are we becomming the "happy, happy, joy, joy" jets? If he told the driver to hurry the f#(k up because he wanted to get home, would we have not picked him? I like the idea of good character, but you have to draw a line somewhere.

It tells you what kind of person he is. Did you watch Calvin Johnson walked up to the stage. Everyone on the way who shook his hand he stopped and looked at them said thank you. Brady Quinn and more then a few others barely acknowledged anyone in the same situation as they brushed pass them. It told me a whole lot about Calvin Johnson. How you treat others matters to EM and MT..it goes to what kind of team mate you will be. Is it about us or me? We know what Tangini is looking for.

I am a nice guy. I would be a good team mate. I am always nice to waitresses, janitors, drivers..etc. I smile a lot and I am a happy guy. Does that mean they will trade up to get me?

As if he told the driver to go phuck himself it would have changed their minds.

Just would have changed the tone of the story…something like “Tanny is looking for hard nosed players who can muster the pressure of NY…that’s why he sent Ronnie the limo driver to pick him up. Tanny was equally impressed when Ronnie pressed the young rookie and was punched in the face and kicked in the nuts…This is the kind of guy who isn’t going to let NY get to him – said Tanny”
