First off, anyone that wants the blame the offense for this loss is retarded. Bottom line, end of story, period.

The fins pretty much ran the ball down our throats and passed on us when they needed to. The defense was served. Out physicaled, out coached, out everythigned.

If not for some generous calls from the refs we would have lost by two scores.

In three weeks we will lose again if the defense doesn't step the fuck up.

The one thing that really got me was that we were beaten at the point of attack. Jenkins was the only one who was consistently beating his man at the line of scrimmage. Our d-line and linebackers were not shedding blocks on those wildcat plays and we were simply "out-physicaled", as you said. I don't like looking back at games and talking about "generous calls" because they seem to even out in the end.

3 weeks? Dude, the way this D played tonight, it's conceivable Buffalo will run all over us and embarass us.

    I agree 99%!!!
    the 1%?

    I'm retarded...It's NOT the Offense's fault BUT
Some of Shotty's calls were incredibly questionable.

    He KILLS DRIVES.

    -3rd and 8 draws
-The screen to Clowney on 3rd & 4
-His reluctance to attempt to get another 1st down on 1st or 2nd down.

andf let's not forget, He was running up the middle all night again!

Yes there were a few gains but it becomes predictable

    very VERY questionable.

The Jets did not deserve to win, that is for sure.

Don't forget the fade call for Brad F-Ing Smith too. When has this man shown he is capable of doing this? Every year we try this with Brad Smith....and we never learn.

Trying the "Seminole" on 3rd and short was pretty laughable too against a D who trains against the wildcat every day....but Weatherford bailed us out(Good game by him with the punts.........)

the offense or B.S. can't shoulder any of this blame.....

to even nitpick that stuff is ridiculous. you put up 27 points in the NFL, you should win. bottom line

i'm still in shock how horrendous our defense was. and to be dismantled by a team that we KNEW what they intended to do.

i think rex ryan said it all. "it was embarrassing". a combination of how badly we got owned and how badly we played/executed/play called on defense.

    to be fair
just like sanchez was due a bad game last week.....
so was the defense after being stellar for 4 games. they'll regroup. they're a great unit. we just absolutely blew today.

Phins did a good job of taking what we do best out of the equation. They ran the WC and ran those gay 2 TE formations. We couldn't blitz and our over aggressive defense was caught out of position on many occasions. Props to them for it but we need to fix our problems for the rematch.

To make matters worse it doesn't exactly help when you've got Drew Coleman and Dwight Lowrey out in single coverage on big plays. I don't know if having Lito and Strickland in there would have made a difference but it probably wouldn't have been any worse.

I gave New Orleans all the credit in the world last week for beating us but I'm pinning this on our D. The missed tackles, the poor coverage and the lack of a pass rush killed us. If our D played their best game and Miami won I'd give them all the credit in the world but our D played it's worst game in years and had they played just a little better we're 4-1 with a 2 game lead on the Pats and Miami is already thinking about the draft.

First off that PI was a good call, watch it in real speed. The dolphin defender grabs Edwards by the arm which threw him off which led to the incompletion. The officiating was mediocre for both sides, that last throw away by henne easily could have been called grounding which would have been huge.

Second, They didn't run wild on us. We couldn't slow down the wildcat crap but they beat us through the air b/c we were so damn worried about the wildcat and we didn't bring the heat like we had in previous weeks. We allowed henne to be very comfortable in the pocket, we don't have good individual pass rushers and if we can't blitz and get pressure we won't have success.

The dolphins were a desperate team at home and they got the job done. They had a great gameplan and they executed it. I'm confident our D will look very different when we meet again.

The PI was bogus Junc and you know it. And the officiating was atrocious for both sides?? The Jets got every call. That was the most one sided reffing I have seen in a long time. They actually called it right on Henne. He was out of the pocket when he threw it away.

Some of you guys relax. I know it sucks to lose but it was one game. The Jets still have a great D but gor smashed tonight by our OL. It happens in football. I think the AFC East is sitting on the 2 best teams in the near future in the Jets and Dolphins. The Pats reign is nearly over. Don't kill Trent Edwards. He is the opponents favorite player each week.

Watch the play in live speed and tell me that. He grabbed his arm, it wasn't a big grab but he grabbed it, and it threw off Braylon's timing. It was a good call.

henne was NOT out of the pocket, it was a moving pocket, he was w/in the tackles. That was more of grounding than Sanchez's was.

I agree the officitiaing wasn't great for either side tonight and that's not why we lost but that was good call on the PI. Just watch it live speed, the ref doesn't have the luxury to see the slow mo.

The D had a bad game, it's as simple as that.

They keyed too much on the run and didn't interrupt Henne's game.

They'll be fine, we just got out coached and we will trounce Buffalo.

Anyone that counts is injured. I'll be back after everyone steps away from the edge.

They ran for over 150 yards us on and that was a bullshit PI call in realtime, slowmotion or whatever way you want to watch it. We got shit on.

It wasn't grounding because he was outside the tackle box. I was screaming for grounding when it happened, but when they showed the replay you could clearly see he moved outside the tackle box. They did move the pocket, but I'm pretty sure the rule is based on the tackle box at the snap.

The offense put up 27 points. That should be enough to win any game if the defense does it's job. The defense got shit on.
