If you think we can get a late first, early second for the way Pennington's playing right now, we might freak out, if we could get anything for CP now, we would take it in a heartbeat.

Pennington has obviously not been great, but he is a proven leader and does have an 89.3 QB rating this year which is pretty good. He is a starting QB for a lot of teams and a good veteran presence. There have been rumors that Chicago may be looking at him this off-season for a 1st or 2nd rounder.

Honestly if we can see chad appears to be done, then so can everybody else, and if anybody is going to give us a high first day pick for a nearly done QB we will by all means take it. Also just because it's rumored, doesn't mean it's true. I mean by this, that all though I believe Chicago is intrested, I doubt they are going to pay a first/second round pick. especially as though it's looking to be an early/middle of the round pick.

Right now its like like we gonna be in the top 5 so i agree with that part. But the part doenst make since. We arent gonnna trade Vilma i dont care what any body says that would just stupid. Donnie Edwards weighs less than Vilma and was great in the 3-4, weight doesnt have alot to do with it like much people think it does.Get a big ass body to cover Vilma and he'll be a beast again.

If Cleveland keeps on winnning i would think the jets would trade their pick to the Cowboys so they can get mcfadden or desean jackson. Then we would be able to Quentin Groves and another player like Manningham

chad would do worse in chicago, they have way worse recievers and its wind there, and they rely on the big play, i dont see the bears turning to penny as an option, he'd fit better with a dome team such as minnesota or atlanta

If we could get a day 1 pick for Pennington, I'd dance.

Your funny. But it was actually in an article as well that said the Bears could be looking to acquire Pennington this off-season and he might be a logical choice for them.
