    It's one player. Jets have a wealth of draft currency which needs to be capitalized on. Worst comes to worst, a guy by the name of Justin Fields also plays a pretty good QB. Maybe Jax will pull thru and win one. Hope springs eternal for a Jet fan...if you live forever...time to start wheeling and dealing...

    Beating NE is a strong possibility the way both teams are playing.
    Cleveland would probably have to be a snowstorm or Monsoon for that to happen.

    But if the Jets do win the next 2, Gase will be back , book it.

    It's disappointing for sure, but it's far from the end of the world. This board was littered with disappointed fans back in 2014 when we beat the Titans and missed out on Mariota and he was a backup in four years.

    With that being said, I wasn't a big fan of Mariota. I don't think Lawrence will bust like he did but this will open up some options in terms of trading down for the Jets. And the Jaguars still could play the Colts resting their starters in week 17 if their playoff spot can't be manipulated.

    We'll see.

    We're not playing, we're rooting

    Obviously the players and coaches want to win, that isn't even debatable. They're all vying for jobs and contracts. But that doesn't mean fans should blindly root for meaningless wins either. Especially a meaningless win where fucking ancient Frank Gore is getting game balls for scoring a TD on fourth down and sealing the win.

    We're playing the Browns next week, and the Jags are playing the Bears. The Bears have been pretty pathetic as of late, so there's still some hope.

    Let’s not kid ourselves here. Unless the QB we draft is 100% pro ready then we will ruin him. We were just sold on Sam Darnold being the guy and it turned out to be a fucking joke. How dumb are we as fans to keep accepting the lies this team feeds us to keep us interested? If the owner can’t even identify what a good offensive coach looks like there is no hope for us.
