This thread has a high probability of fail but I've never understood why Wayne Peace did not make it in the NFL.

    This was posted in 2005:

Wayne Peace, 44, lettered in football and basketball while attending LHS. He was a four-year letterman in football at UF and graduated in 1984. Currently, he coaches basketball, baseball and football for city and YMCA leagues. He was inducted into the Tangerine Bowl Hall of Fame, Lakeland High School Hall of Fame and the UF Athletic Hall of Fame. He set three college records for completion percentage as a junior in 1982. Peace played for the Tampa Bay Bandits of the USFL in 1984.

I remember watching him at Florida and thinking this kid was a sure fire nfl qb. I didn't know much then (still don't), but maybe he was too small?

I can't find much on him now and I'm curious if others ever thought he was an awesome qb.
