Patriots are looking overrated right now on MNF, Bills are the Bills, Dolphins are also beatable. Jets still have a chance to win it, amazingly.
Split against Denver and SD, beat NE and Buffalo and we're on the right track. The silver lining is all of our losses are out of conference
In what fucking world are the Jets winning 5+ in a row? This team has a problem putting 2 wins together, and somehow you all think we are gonna rattle off 5+ at the end of the season.
2002 the Jets started off 1-3 while both Pats and Fins went 3-1. We won it at 9-7 on the last day of the season.
2002 Jets @Bills 37-31 in OT Pats 7-44 @Fins 3-30 @Jags 3-28 Playoffs... That BTW is outscored 13-102 over 3 straight games and we still managed to go 8-4 the rest of the way and win a playoff game.
ya that was the year Vinny got yanked an Pennington took the reins, so pull genocide and put Vick in?
"Jim Lovell: Uh well, I'll tell ya, I remember this one time - I'm in a Banshee at night in combat conditions, so there's no running lights on the carrier. It was the Shrangri-La, and we were in the Sea of Japan and my radar had jammed, and my homing signal was gone... because somebody in Japan was actually using the same frequency. And so it was - it was leading me away from where I was supposed to be. And I'm lookin' down at a big, black ocean, so I flip on my map light, and then suddenly: zap. Everything shorts out right there in my cockpit. All my instruments are gone. My lights are gone. And I can't even tell now what my altitude is. I know I'm running out of fuel, so I'm thinking about ditching in the ocean. And I, I look down there, and then in the darkness there's this uh, there's this green trail. It's like a long carpet that's just laid out right beneath me. And it was the algae, right? It was that phosphorescent stuff that gets churned up in the wake of a big ship. And it was - it was - it was leading me home. You know? If my cockpit lights hadn't shorted out, there's no way I'd ever been able to see that. So uh, you, uh, never know... what... what events are to transpire to get you home."
Are you suggesting we use green algae at QB or we put the team on a plane with low fuel and send them over the ocean?
the masses of sunshine pumpers cant seem to understand that every team looks at the Jets as an easy win the same way we look at them. The Pats fans are probably saying at least we'll kill the Jets at home in two weeks. And they will
Trust me I am very optimistic when it comes to the Jets, but I just don't see it with this team... They will need to do a complete 180 starting Sunday if they want any shot at the playoffs.
We also had a well primed Chad Pennington to go to in 2002 when the offense was stagnant at 1-3. In 2014 we have Rex Ryan stating in no uncertain terms that he's going to stick with the stagnant offensive strategy. But that's OK since we're rebuilding.
If we go 2-2 next 4 weeks we are back in the race. Until then, I will try not to get myself overly excited. Can we go 2-2? With a mistake free smart football yes we can. Will we? That is another question.
Have not played a division game yet. and the division is weak. and even 808 might do it. why get down at this point? we just played 3 teams that are probably better than our division rivals, if the Pats have truly taken the pipe. It is too early not to give myself a reason to keep watching with interest.
i know it sounds crazy but Kyle Orton Matt Moore Bridgewater Whitehurst 2014 Brady in metlife Matt Moore in that order can be had.. we can win 5 of those games... but we're the jets
