so with the new schedule coming out, I realized how many 1 pm games we have. I'm going to be moving to San Francisco in May, and realized I have to wake up at 10am to watch the games!!! I went to school in Illinois so watching the games at 12 were alright for me, but 10am is pretty crazy (I usually wake up at 11 on weekends).

A benefit is that I can just wake up and watch football right away. Also I won't have to stay up too late to watch primetime games. Cons are that I will probably miss the start of primetime games (those 2 Thursday nights and Monday night) due to my commute from work, while watching those in the East Coast will guarantee I always watch the full game (I dont mind sleeping later to watch my team).

wondering what other Jets fans think of this. Most of you guys are probably East Coasters (like me now), so wondering what your thoughts are on this

    There's always the DVR. :)

I'll prolly need it for the Fish game in England

    Good luck in S.F.

I'm more of a morning person anyway so 10am games wouldn't really bother me. Might be weird to have a beer and watch the game but you can wake up and have a kick ass breakfast with like bacon and eggs and stuff like that. That's what I plan on doing for the game in London (man, you're going to have to get up at like 6am for that one!).

Like you said the more awkward thing is the prime time games on a Monday or Thursday and getting home from work in time. I wouldn't be a fan of that, but the fact that they would end at like 8:30pm is pretty cool since it gives you time to do a bunch of other stuff.

Can you imagine how many games Geno would miss if he played for SF or SD or the Raiders?

Well consider yourself lucky, I spent last season in Manila and I had to get up at 4 AM to watch some games.... honestly I spent 17 years living in Arizona and Nevada and I love the fact that I could usually get up and watch the Jets at 10 AM and them lose by 1 PM and still have the rest of the day to do whatever I needed to do whether it was shopping, go to the movies or the occasional have sex with the wife.

WC fans are very lucky when it comes to gametimes. they don't have to stay up until midnight to watch games.

if the time zones screwed Geno Smith up in SD, he's going to be really fucked up for the Miami game in London.

It will go beyond just missing a team meeting... I wouldn't be surprised if he's still back at the hotel bar with Champ while they are kicking off the game!

Living on the west coast is the best for football. I love that it is on first thing in the morning and the Monday and Sunday night games don't keep me up until the morning.

The early games start at 0700 here in Hawai'i. Kinda nice, but when it looks like summer outside its hard to stay in and lay around watching football and drinking beer all day.

As an East Coaster I always admired folks in Central Zone and beyond. I do have 2 kids and no matter what I have to wake up at around 7 AM weekends. Weekdays I wake up at 6 so I would prefer if the games ended at 8:30 PM or 9:00 PM instead of midnight. I don't care much about Monday night football and Thursday night football so I would prefer to be on the west coast than east coast.

Congrats on the new job and enjoy west coast.

Central time is pretty good. Games start at noon and rarely go past 1015.

I can't remember the last time I slept past 10am. Sounds funny reading about how you're dreading having to get up sooo early. lol.

How early will you have to wake up for the London game?

You and your crush on Asians. :)

For those who don't know Barry, he is as white as they come and in fact a handsome one as well. So you can imagine how many Asians he is scoring on his latest Asian endeavor. Lol :D
