That´s why I love the signing, that´s the attitude, we didn´t have for the last 3 years: "We will blitz as many as it takes. You don´t have to necessarily outsceme them every time, you can say, hey the sceme is set up to give you guys an opportnity to go 1-on-1 and we like our matchups!"

I hope we get Scott, too.

Good video - I like how he got the blitzer free'd up with NO ONE blocking him there. Man that would be a welcome site to see.

    Awsome Vid. Thanks for posting.

I love hearing hmi talk about giving players the chance to go one on one with blockers. It was sick sitting at home nad watching two or three guys per rusher giving a QB forever to throw the ball. I can't wait to see this type of defense out of the JEts next year.

I like how they had Pryce lined up against the center and he just blew him right off the line. I was talking about some advantages that the Jets can give Rex Ryan. We may not be the Ravens D, but Rex has to see good upside in having a NT that will draw double teams most of the time. If not, at least blow the Center off just like Pryce did in that film. I have to beleive Jenks gets more double teams, than Ngata does. Not to mention Revis shutting down one side of the field. I don't think the Ravens have a young, shutdown corner on their roster. Rhodes isn't Ed Reed but I can't see Rhodes not benefiting from this new system. He'll be allowed to roam the field. What we need are the OLB's. Pace is no Suggs, and certainly a cactus is better than Bryan Thomas. So that's what we'll need to acquire. The scheme, timing, and matchups will be put together by Rex, so I'm looking to see what we do this offseason in getting some talent to help fill those holes as well as the draft.

One thing is for certain, this defense will be interesting to watch next season.

I can't agree with the bolded part. Ngata is a beast. I'm sure he draws jsut as many doubles as Jenkins. They are both amazing athleats in huge bodies.

I agree completely with the second part. This is goign to be an interesting season comming up.

I pretty sure, that rmagedon6 is right, just because Ngata is playing a lot of DE. If you run away from Ngata or have a rollout or somthing, you don?t have to doubleteam him. You have to doubleteam a NT like Jenkins a lot more, because he can destroy more plays from the center, than a DE can from the outside.
