I question the amount of threads posted about the same questions and the idiots that feel the need to start new threads about the same. Good job, keep it up
Last year was pretty terrible no? This year we are better than last year. Doesn't matter who is the QB. I believe in Marty and we showed good enough stuff in preseason to get me excited for regular season. PS: I am not talking about preseason wins. I am talking about in game flashes etc. Marty will do a decent job.
QB = Sanchez RB = Greene, McKnight WR = Holmes LB = Harris and Scott Last season we knew we werent good but we knew who will fill the positions for the season. We've seen them play and knew what we had (even if they sucked). But now? Its pretty much a mystery. QB = Will Geno be the QB for the season? RB = Who is Ivory? Can Powell be a our #1? Goodson will be in Week 4 but we have no clue what looks like. WR = Who is our #1 WR? LB = ????
The QB question has been answered. Now we see whether he can execute a greatly improved offensive scheme. Pick up your pencils. The test begins Sunday.
You know what's NOT listed as a question mark for this team? Either of the lines. We are solid on OL & potentially elite on the DL. If you are solid upfront you have a chance. Wouldn't expect all the negative nancies or the media to take notice of that however.
There are questions that need answers around this joint. #1-Will Hobbes suffer a Tommy John injury slapping himself on the back if the Jets go 3-1 to open the season? #2-How long until NYJunc calls a Geno int. "a good punt"? #3-What week I'll say Geno should be benched for the good of the team. #4-How many times Championship69 reminds us that without a SuperBowl win it's all for nothing. #5-When will the "Sanchez Sucks" thread gets closed. #6-When will Alleycat actually give up on debating NYJunc.
Quarter back=Gino; until Sanchez is healthy. You know "he gives us the best chance to win". Wide reciever= Tone, kerley, smith, and the rest of the rookies. TE= K Winslo _ he's enough for double team all By himself. My only question is , will they execute??
I feel better about this team than last years squad. 1/3 of our entire team was a big question (the offense). This year Marty has shown more than Sparano ever did.
Looking at last year. Who on that list is actually good. QB- Geno RB- Ivory and Powell (better than Plod Greene) WR- Holmes, Kerley, Hill TE- Winslow LB- Harris and Davis How is that any worse than last year?
1996. I entered the season wondering if I had it left in me to be a Jets fan. I didn't like the Brady pick in 1995 and kind of held my nose on Keyshawn. I thought Kotite was a walking disaster. I had slept through the 4th quarter of about half the schedule in 1995, one too many beers and my couch acting as a painkiller during that really frustrating run of games where the Jets had a close game turn into a big loss or a blowout at half time turn into a close loss. Never has a team been so bad at putting together first half and second half and winning the game. This year is easy-peasy if you were a Jets fan during the 70's or from late 80's till Parcells showed up.
Yea I'd rather have a '?' with a high ceiling (Geno, Ivory) than a known liability (Sanchez, Greene).
