Wow, Leinart is just not getting it I guess. If he doesn't start showing something soon, I guess it is safe to call him a bust?
Warner is the better QB until proven otherwise. Obviously, Leinart didn't prove otherwise here this summer. Warner severely outplayed Leinart last year. Warner moved the offense and Leinart generally did not. They both played in some of the early season games until Leinart was injured by Will Witherspoon in Week 5. In those games, they had the same teammates and faced the same opponents, so Leinart had no excuses. The problem with Leinart is that he might just suck.
^ I think he just sucks. I mean how much of a learning curve does this guy need? You have two ill receivers who can get open at will...
Haha, that is just crazy. Oh, well, I guess Mr. Hair Gel ought to start thinking about that 'movie career' of his sooner rather than later.
lol - good point. I'm surprised his performance last night didn't help him win the job? 4/12 for 24 yards and 3 INT's
Leinart isn't as mobile as Warner(which is sad in itself), that's why he's having trouble in Arizona.
You know, during that year's draft, I thought for sure that it was the most talent heavy top ten EVER. But now Leinart is looking dangerously close to a bust... Vince Young is struggling... Reggie Bush might not have what it takes to succeed at this level... D'Brick is an average tackle and AJ Hawk is an average linebacker... Vernon Davis is a non-factor... Huff is a Raider... And the one guy, the only guy that everybody was certain was a terrible pick, Mario Williams, is an all-pro caliber player. Charlie Casserly laughs last.
A.J. Hawk is pretty good and Davis should become a big factor for SF this year. Otherwise, I agree with the rest.
Young is letting his success get to his head, once he grows up, he'll be a better person and a better QB. Davis was injured early, but he will be the key to the 49ers "success" Bush splitting downs is not helping him. Hawk is one of the better LBs in the NFC. Rest are mostly true tho, lol
If they can protect him, Warner will probably put up some big numbers... the guy clearly can still play.
