If ever there was a game that required 110% physically and mentally, this is it. Rex has to have these guys come out with the mentality of going to war. They need to hit hard and often. They need to play their most physical game yet under Coach Ryan. Attack again and again on offense, both on the ground and on in the air. Our WRs should prove too much for the Pats secondary, and Shotty had better exploit that. Our DBs need to hit the receivers at the line, and hit and stay with the TEs (Really our most glaring weakness on defense). The best thing to do is jump on them early through the air, then demolish their will to live with a punishing running attack from Shonn, who I expect to get 20+ carries tonight. And most important of all is to drive that shit eating prettyboy into the turf on as many plays as possible. Punish him physically, and he wears down quickly in the second half. And then that's when you hit them in the jaw and knock them out. Lastly, they need to play a clean game. Be aggressive, but smart. You cannot give these guys second chances or they'll kill you. False starts, offensive holding, encroachment, and those types of penalties MUST be kept to a minimum. The Jets have everything lined up for them. Now they need to fight for it, and fight like hell. Now is the time to start playing your best football, and there is no better time to make that statement then on Monday Night Football against the second best team in the league.
Wouldn't mind if they went after Brady on a late hit early. Or Welker. Or both. Set that motherfucking tone like they did in the old days.
