When the season's over, I'll be pissed we won this game. We hurt our draft position, and since McCown won a game, Bowles will play him for another 10 weeks. Face it, we suck so bad we can't even suck right.

But on the bright side, the Fins forum is having a nervous breakdown that they lost to us. Thread titles like
We just lost to a team that's trying to lose!!!!!!, bashing Gase after he took them to the playoffs last year, bashing Tanny, bashing Cutler (they have a point on that one), etc. http://finheaven.com/forums/miami-dolphins-forum.4/

I can even see why Trump supporters enjoy pissing off liberals so much.:D

The Jets are better than the Giants. Giants must be sucking for Sam! Gotta love it.

I didn't mind the win. We saw some really great things from some of the young guys. I was just annoyed that they let in a garbage time TD like that. I was pulling for that shutout big time. It's been a long time since the Jets had a shutout win.

Yeah, I mentioned this in the game thread - I followed it starting in the second quarter, and watching the increasing panic, disgust, and hysteria was highly amusing.

That board reads just like TGG along about 2012. Those guys have no idea how bad this is going to get before it gets any better.

They do understand that they're playing with borrowed assets given Tanny's style.

What stinks about this win is like what the OP said, Bowles will continue to play McCown. I would much rather see this team make strides with one of the younger QB's taking the snaps than a weathered vet that has no future with this team. This win may be a moral booster for the young players but , unfortunately, the dark cloud that covers this team with the QB situation still exists.

I read over there very infrequently. I have my own damn problems! Heh. I will tell you, though, I came across an epic thread there once. I think it was in 2013. I had bookmarked the link to the thread because it was THAT funny and I just had to share with a bunch of my Jets fan compadres. My laptop at the time died shortly after, and I'm not a member there, so I could never find it again. It was titled "Best Day of My Life". Basically a Dolphins fan member was so mad that the Dolphins lost a critical game that he trolled his own thread for about 5 pages. Not verbatim, but the general gist of the posts - especially the first one of the thread: "Today is the best day of my life. I am so glad the Dolphins lost. I no longer care about the team, and now I can start doing something else with my life. Jeff Ireland, can I please buy you a beer. You have released me from bondage, and for that I thank you." "Go find another team, loser!" "Loser. That would be the Dolphins. And yes, I will." "A real fan would never become a fan of another team!" "I'm a real fan of not having a stroke." Never cursed or lost his temper. The more he calmly trolled, the madder people got. It was pretty masterful. I know it doesn't translate, but it really was very, VERY, funny.

Yeah, I mean they're waiting to implode given how their cap is managed. They'll slowly lose their young players (think Landry, Ajayi, Parker, Tunsil, Kiko Alonso, etc. upcoming,) that deserve a contract for the aging veterans that cannot be cut with backloaded contracts.

I researched this in a thread a while back and something like 60% of their cap is tied into 6-7 players. Tannehill and Suh alone account for nearly a fifth of their salary cap space.

    Tanny-ball 101.

    The opposite of moneyball.

Cutler is a disaster. The guy didn't even want to play and they dangled $10 million in front of him and he said eh fuck it, I'll play mediocre football for that.

Cutler is pretty much unanimously hated by his teammates.

The hate for the Phins runs deep but beating them with a 38 yr old QB does nothing for us, play Petty!

the funniest thing about the dolphins is that when this terrible season for them is over they will think the problem was just that they lost Ryan Pansyhill. Instead of rebuilding properly they will just reload with a healthy pansyhill and he sucks. They won't be relevant for awhile.

    this line was pretty good
The Steelers stayed in the locker room for the national anthem. The Dolphins stayed in the locker room for the entire football game.

I didn't want the team to go 0-16 so I'm glad that win is out of the way. Now we just gotta make sure we win no more than 1 more game.

As for playing the youngins I think it's only a matter of time before McCown has to activate his life alert bracelet. He prolly has 3-5 more games in him.

Matt Moore is better than Tannenhill and Cutler and they went out of their way to drag Cutler out of retirement.

    Not as funny as this

If they wanted him [Marshawn Lynch] to stop and sit down they just should've played the National Anthem
