Yeah..he felt a pop in the foot. Probably ligament damage. Now they will give up everybody for Sabathia that they would have given up for Santana...what a waste.

I'd rather miss the playoffs than give up too much to get an overrated Sabathia. If Wang is out for the year then we need to suck it up and accept what happens rather than panic and nscrew up the nfuture. W/ or w/o Wang this team likely isn't going to win a WS so to give up too much to get Sabathia for a chance to make the postseason would be foolish.

I agree. I really don't like Sabathia. He is always out of shape. The Yankees beat him up regularly so everybody else in the AL east probably will too. That and he will get at least 20 million a year. I'll pass.

Quite an unfortunate blow to Wang. I can't recall any AL pitcher of his stature who has had this happen before because of interleague play and batting and running the bases.

i would give up ajax for sabathia straight up.

Hes like what 27 in his prime. Best part is that we need a lefty, pettite is gone after this year and we dont have a top lefty prospect to take his place.

On one condition, we have to sign him to an extension first.

I doubt they'll get Sabathia mid-season (unless a package is centered around Kennedy and Cabrera), they'll just wait until after the season to sign him. So many people have called him overrated that he's actually become underrated.

6 weeks in a boot and then what? Sounds more like 10 weeks at least to me.
