In my opinion Walter Football is one of the most accurate and intuitive mock draft sites available.

** i'm sorry. their site is like every other mock site, so therefore its just "whatever", allow me to be specific in saying that I only posted this because of its selection of malcolm jenkins.

    http://walterfootball.com/draft2009.php

New York Jets: Malcolm Jenkins, CB, Ohio State
A few days prior to the Jets-49ers game, I wrote a short column for USA Today's Sports Weekly, opining that Shaun Hill was a great fantasy start that weekend. My reasoning was that the Jets gave out 240-yard passing performances like candy on Halloween. Hill went on to throw for 285 yards and two touchdowns. That's one of about 5,000 examples that proves the Jets desperately need corner help.

    if we draft malcolm jenkins.
    i will shit my pants.

almost as much as I did when we drafted Darrelle Revis.
Except I think Jenkins is faster and stronger than Darrelle.

LET US ARGUE THIS ONE OUT.

If we got pressure on the QB, we wouldn't need to draft in the secondary. FIX THE FRONT 7

I do not see him being there for us at 17 but if we get him great.

The way I see it, Rex is going to fix the Front 7 and the pressure whether we upgrade it this year or not, just because of his and Pettine's schemes. So getting Jenkins to pair up with Revis would be awesome.

Will Jenkins actually drop that far? I can't see how he will. It's rare that the best CB falls to #17.

Did you just learn how to use intuitive in a sentence?

Walter Football has Darrius Heyward-Bey and Brian Cushing going the second round. Whoever made this mock is banking on epic slides.

Malcolm Jenkins won't make it out of the top twelve.

Revis is better than Jenkins. Good grief.

The real question, and pay attention here kids, is who will Walter Mock have us drafting tomorrow, the day after, the day after, etc, etc, etc until draft day. It's NEVER the same. The guys that run walter mock have NO LIVES and change their draft every day with no reason and with nothing happening.

the guys on walter change there picks based on a lot of things...they've changed it a lot lately based on the juniors declaring for the draft. Also, things like off season moves that affect the immediate needs of the teams, roster moves , etc...

i don't think any draft site keeps the same players on the same teams all throughout the season...

I'd absolutely love Jenkins, I'd also be happy with Vontae Davis, but I doubt Jenkins will slide, and I think there are guys in the front seven who are just as good as Davis. I hope Everette Brown slides, maybe Malauagua...

true. but just seeing his name at pick #17 had me elated.

"mr electric" gets a boner when he sees a thread of mine.

animosity + homosexual desire = mr. electric.

    for extra measure.

    ^%$& your mother.

"KiD!!!" - the love child of RaiderJeaux and JetsLookingforDWare

No hard ons here -- I just hate the fact that you clutter up the draft forum with garbage threads.

I like your attempt at humor. You just made yourself look even more annoying.

Who cares what Walter Football says -- these other posters are right, they change their mock almost every day.

Jenkins is a better prospect overall than Revis was when he came out of college, but Revis is significantly faster.

I always thought Walter Football was pretty shitty, but whatever.

Jenkins would be amazing for us at 17.

Moreno is only a good option if Davis/Jenkins/Alphonso Smith/Sanchez/Mauluaga are off the board.

I like his site and its normally pretty complete and accurate, but how about this from the free agent section:

#3 Brett Ratliff (ERFA), Jets. Age: 24. (3 stars)
One of the bright young quarterbacks in the NFL, Brett Ratliff - not Kellen Clemens - is set to take over as the starting signal caller if Brett Favre retires. Ratliff will be retained for small money.

He's listed on the same level as Matt Cassell and Kerry Collins and above Ryan Fitzpatrick, Byron Leftwhich and Jeff Garcia without throwing a single NFL regular season pass.

That's some serious "homerism." Is this guy a huge Jets fan or something?
