Wasn't he the window washing hobo that Jeaux defended?

    Edit: Oh Yeah

No, to be fair Joe was never a fan of Walsh. Nor were most Raider fans...

True, I just got through that thread. Classic stuff.

Edit: Slight derail but do you think this new OC will finally get Randy Moss the ball. He's killing me in Fantasy Football.

I have Moss too. I finally gave in and sat him but I might give him a shot this week. Maybe the combination of new coordinator and the Houston Texans will light a fire under him. But this week is his last chance for me!

"HAHAHAHAHAHA, I just saw an article that said the Raiders have replaced Tom Walsh with John Shoop. As any Bears fan can tell you, they will now have the most dink-dunk offense in the league. Shoopification is a horrible, horrible thing."

Call me crazy (as others on this board have) but I'm willing to give anyone not named Tom Walsh a shot.

As for Shoop, some criticisms are fair, some are not. The guy was 30 when he was the Bears coordinator. He had QBs such as Jim Miller, Kordell Stewart, and Cade McNown. The defense was good. You think Jauron wanted him throwing the ball all over the yard?

He's coached under Gruden and Turner since then, I would hope a young guy like him has learned a few things. We'll see...

Hey, Tom Walsh was awful. But I don't see Shoop as much of an improvement.
