Successful season ? Are you insane ? You think there will be someone available who make this season a success ? How do you define success 6-10 ? Yes, we need a NT, and RB, a TE, amongst other things, but unless the Chiefs plan on cutting Johnson, or the Chargers are cutting Gates we are screwed.
While TE needs to be upgraded, no one that will be on the waiver wire will change the state of the TE position. Interior O-Line depth and D-Line depth is badly needed.
We don't know what we have at TE because the previous regime didn't use them much in a receiving capacity, but better blocking at TE would be nice. At FB, we just need to hire a hypnotist to make Jamar Martin think there's a donut behind every man he's supposed to block.
