All teams had reps on hand but none other than Rex Ryan was in attendance. For the head coach to be there I think means something ....... Terrance Cody NT or Kareem Jackson CB up high or in a trade back. Several DB's taught by Nick Saban and Kirby Smart that will be there later..Javier Arenas CB would be a nickle and punt return.....Marquis Johnson CB...later pick tremendous improvement since Saban. Spurrier threw three consecutive goal line plays at Johnson convinced he could complete it and never did.
means nothing....Rex attended and helped out at Jarron Gilbert's Pro Day last year too..... Rex was probably kickin' tires.....as he should be. He's a hands on type coach.
Yeah I was just going to bring that up, Rex was obviously intrigued with Gilbert, and attended his Pro Day. He obviously realized that he wasn't even worth a 3rd round pick there too...so I trust him to get the right opinion on these guys too.
Wondered about that as well. I'd better keep an eye on what other pro days he attends and then check back on what ones he attended last year and then crosscheck that against picks and.... well, SOMEONE would ahve to do that, at least.
For the record, Domino's is less than a mile from the practice facility and does deliver to campus, so the answer is yes. FWIW, Papa John's is within walking distance of the facility, directly across the railroad tracks on Hackberry Lane
