http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/01/19/vince-wilfork-pulls-woman-from-overturned-suv/ Some woman crashed her car yesterday and while Wilfork was driving home, stopped to help pull her from the wreckage. Personally, I love stories like this. Athletes just doing the right thing because it comes naturally to them. Provides a great role model for kids in youth sports.
Im skeptical. I think the woman was put there as a plant by Belicheck to distract people from the ball deflating drama.
I always liked Wilfork. One of the few on that team that I can root for. Seems like a pretty nice guy.
Yep, I feel the same. The year he entered the draft he was interviewed on a local JAX radio show, he seemed like a good "everyday" dude then. Seemed very humble for a dude from "The U". My opinion hasnt changed, aside from the jersey he wears. Linebacker was a huge need and Vilma was a good player , but imagine if we had Wilfork that whole time....
Professional athletes are probably more prone to hero complex than other millionaires, because they are taught to be role models. Jon Jones, the day he won the UFC light heavyweight championship, chased a purse snatcher a couple of blocks and held him down for cops. Now he is a coke head in rehab.
Could be a great guy off the field, he certainly did a great thing. Bit of a dirty player on it, though. Not as dirty as earlier in his career but he still gets his personal fouls and fines.
Nah, too many cheap shots and then smiles on camera . can't trust him... Sent from my LG-LS720 using Tapatalk
