I never really thought about it but its pretty impressive that he won defensive rookie of the year considering he was in the same draft class as Sean Taylor, DeAngelo Hall, Dunta Robinson, Tommie Harris, DJ Williams, and Vince Wilfork. Bring year in 2007 for JV write it down..

 

Vilma needs to have his best season ever eclipsing his rookie year. If not dont be surprised when posters start crying trade...

I'm still waiting for the quote from JV's former HC that says he's too small to play MLB in the NFL. We'll probably never see it though.

 

I told you many, many times it was on a interview on WQAM & if you need the tape that badly to prove it was said contact them in Miami. This is at least the 100th repost of this. If you do not want to contact WQAM then forget it & go further with your life

 

Actually he was probably drafted to replace Barton who is older and probably on his way out soon.

His only bad year was the 1st year in a new system. Name one of the front 7 that had a "stellar" year in the new D.

Maybe, part of Vilma's problem was the whole front 7 blew.

 

What JV thinks & what his deeds on the field are based on last year is like nite is different then day
