He missed a lot of tackles. He made some plays. I would have loved to see him make a great pick with a little over a minute to go.

I think all the LBs in general were overpursuing.

Vilma has been poor for the past two weeks to be honest.

Vilma hasn't played well in the new scheme. Barton looked good today,

Vilma stunk today, and it wasn't all being out of position. He made a lot of mental miscues and missed a number of tackles he should have been in on at least.

If were gonna complain about any of our LB's, do not point the finger at Vilma. Eric Barton had an opportunity before the half to wrap up Joe Addai on a 3rd down situation at the line of scrimmage....he missed the tackle, they score a few plays alter. Overpursuing was a huge problem as well as generating a pass rush....did we even blitz? I remember Hobson came in once.....other than that.....

Vilma is a first round DP and the undisputed leader of the defense. When he comes out flat and misses tackles and miscues coverages, he is more accountable than the rest of the defense.

The D as a whole stunk it up...couldn't make critcal stop...the blames goes to the whole unit the coord and coach...I understand the colts are this and great at that, but when we needed a stop we didn't get it and until we have ability to stop O's like the pats and the colts we aren't going to be able to take that step...we need a game changer up front...I believe we have players capable @ the other lvls (rhodes, vlima) but we need someone up front who can be that difference maker...until then...

the middle linebackers in the 3-4 arn't going to do anything without a real NT

Middle Linebackers make a lot of tackles over the course of a season. I've never been impressed with tackle stats. Kyle Clifton was about 60 years old when he got over 100 tackles in a year. It's time for Vilma to flash that star potential or we have to start realizing he's just a pretty good player.

He needs to show up big next week. No excuses. The great ones never stay quiet too long.

I didnt think Vilma was horrible today. I think people expect way too much from him. I know he's the leader of the defense but he's learning a new system.

Give him time, he'll figure it out.

its becuase vilma is undersized for the 3-4 and so is drob...however i believe mangini is brilliant enough to figure out a way to make the 3-4 work and take advantage of their skills
