What if this team had a NT like Casey Hampton or Jamal Williams, would Jonathan Vilma be a playmaker like he was in the 4-3? I know a lot of people have said that he isn't an ideal fit for the 3-4 due to his size and I can understand that, but I feel no linebacker in the 3-4 can take on guards every single play or he will wear down. Even the best 3-4 LBs need a NT. Also I watched the Patriots and Browns game this year and Bruschi got 2 sacks not by getting off blocks, but by having a clear lane to the QB. Just wanted to get peoples' thoughts.

If The Jets had a more effective NT who's fit for the 3-4 Vilma's Playmaking would no doubt sky rocket from the way he is playing right now. Thats my Opinion though.
