He'd instantly become our best WR, but the Vikes must know something we don't if they're willing to move a good WR in his prime on a team friendly contract. It's been almost 10 years since we acquired Holmes for a 5th from the Steelers. That didn't go too well for us after the first season.
I just think the Vikings are in cap hell and need to let him go. I'm pretty sure he has also made it known he wants out since he isn't "THE GUY"
I've read that he has complained when he isn't getting the ball. The last thing Sam needs while he develops is someone who does this.
