I think if theres one really tremendous strength the NYJ have this year its there very athletic o-line. I feel for at least this year they should design there playbook around there o-line. They should try to find plays that utilize there linemans mobility, balance and excellent technique. This strategy could also open up things for blaylock and washington since there speed can be used for getting around the edge rather than tearing up the middle behind run-blocking mauler lineman.

  2. Long term I believe this will be the plan. We will find big strong and fast skill players that have good quickness who can really take advantage of our mobile O-line. The young RB's we have now in Washington and Houston are actually very good fits for what we will be looking to do. They're both guys who can be patient waiting for running lanes that also have good quickness. What we will need to add long term is a WR who is very good after the catch who we can throw some screen passes to.

What we need to do with our line is make sure the young guys get buttloads of experience this year. That means Brick better start everygame on the left side, Mangold better get most of the snaps at center and make sure Moore and Jones get lots of time to mesh on the right because they will need to help each other out being lighter, more agile players on the power side.

It's not like we are going anywhere with Trey Teague or Anthony Clement

Your offensive line is not a strength when your starting Left Tackle has not played a live snap in an NFL game. Give it a couple of years before you start dreaming about dominant O-lines yet.
