    Is it a step forward to go from two totally irrelevant leagues to one? I guess?

    Maybe they can join the Pac-12 - I hear there are a few openings there ...

    These spring football leagues never seem to work. Every time they try it fails. When it comes to football fans only care about the NFL and college. Once that is over then fans switch to the NBA/NHL for the winter and playoffs in the spring. Also, baseball starts in the spring. Fans get back into football once the season starts in September.
