Same source for the Harvin & Vontae report I posted, Rick Seritella of nfldraftbible According to Seritella (nfldraftbible) Cushing & Matthews both tested positive for roids at the combines Once again I must add I don't know if its true or false, but that's what nfldraftbible is reporting
I hope not. This is not exactly the AP reporting this. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.
Someone I respect said the Matthews report may be untrue .. its not a cut & dry case that he tested positive for roids
Whoops. I post this pic and comment in the Jets forum, and 20 minutes later I see you beat me to it by about 6 hours. Haha. It's true, though. So true.
Coach Carroll released a statement earlier today regarding the whole steroid accusations. http://usctrojans.cstv.com/blog/2009/04/carroll-cushing-matthews-rumors-false.html
Bleacher Report pulled their story from the website and KFFL got the info from some site called NFLDraftBible.com These were the only sites running the story and none of them should be considered reputable. Until I see some more conclusive proof I will just go under the assumption that someone out there is going to be hit with a couple of liable/defamation of character law suits.
the nfl demanded that these places retract their stories .... apparently they don't have combine results yet
^They should already have the combine results in. If the NFL demanded they retract the stories then that has to mean that they were fabrications. I'd still like an explanation for Cushing's bitch tits, though.
I'm sure he strenuously objected to rumors about Reggie Bush's improper benefits, as well. The more he talks, the more Carroll = Sgt. Shultz from Hogan's Heroes
Well the same people who "strenuously" accused Reggie Bush of receiving improper benefits are also saying that Cushing and Matthews are clean. Nice try though. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_y...lug=jc-combinedrugs040309&prov=yhoo&type=lgns
They'd fit right in there under the Rodney Harrison workout plan. Cushing I can definitely see going to the Pats, provided he's around when they pick. He's versatile enough to play inside and outside and give the LB corps that flexibility they love up there in New England.
