At this point, Im willing to accept the idea that somebody, somewhere in the football world, is trying to make this ridiculous trade situation happen, and they arent being shy about making sure it leaks to the internet. But Im thinking its almost certainly Leinart's agent, and hes almost certainly going to fail. Because from everything Ive heard, hes basically asking hte teams in the top seven to trust each other, and thats just never going to happen. Not to mention that if he were to get the teams in the 5 and 6 holes to agree not to draft Ferguson or trade down, thus insuring his fall to the Jets as is reportedly what the Jets demand, then I think Ferguson would have very strong grounds for a law suit. Not that it would ever happen.
