I'll contribute, too. To trade down from #11 to #21, the Jets better get a heck of a lot more than Rasul Douglas.

Does anyone have any background info on who Douglas is. Never heard of him.

I would sincerely hope we get way more than 1 borderline starter to move down 10 spots tonight.

Now, if Philly wants to part with their 2nd or 3rd rounder too, then I'm interested.

FWIW, manish(Wyatt) has it as the eagles 1,3 and Douglas.
    That’s more palatable
End up with a Justin Jefferson maybe and 3 3s to be flexible with.

I'd at least need a Philly 3 & 4 or a swap of Philly's 2 for one of our 3s on top of Douglass.

I'd be more on board with this. 3 3rd rounders gives us a little more ammo to move around in the 2nd-4th range.

Now I see Manish talking about Dillard. There's a whooole lot of smoke to this fire.

Where did he say this? I see him tweeting about Dillard, nothing about this trade.

There's a rumor out there about the Eagles and 49ers making this swap with the 49ers getting an additional 4th round pick. I'd make that deal in a heartbeat given the Jets roster issues.

    #21, Douglas, 3rd and 4th turn the #11 into 4 good prospects.

I'd have to consider that trade, but it would depend upon whom is available at #11. If Wirfs is there at #11, no way I'd make that trade, and maybe not if Wills was there. If I thought it was pretty definite that I could get Josh Jones at #21 and then Pittman at #48, then I'd do it, but there are no guarantees. You make that trade down and then both Jones and Jefferson are gone at #21 and Pittman's gone at #48 and you're screwed. I'd settle for Ezra Cleveland and Chase Claypool at that point, but that 3rd and 4th rounder better be darned good players.

Yeas, a t a certain point simply having a stockpile of even moderately high (3rd and 4th rounders) draft picks is dependent on who you can get with them. You'd better be damn confident in your scouting and your knowledge of players to pass over an almost certain Day 1 starter at OT or WR.

Rasul Douglas doesn’t move the needle at all. 21 could be a no mans land pick. If you told me Justin Jefferson would be there than maybe but you can’t tell me that

10 days ago, Bill Barnwell at ESPN did an all trades 1st round mock draft: https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2020/...t-all-trades-32-picks-32-trades-bill-barnwell

    11. New York Jets
    Trade with Philadelphia Eagles

Jets get: 1-21, 3-103, 2021 third-round pick, CB Rasul Douglas
    Eagles get: 1-11

The Eagles don't typically trade up and give away draft picks, but they might very well think they're one wide receiver from competing for a Super Bowl after seeing their offense struggle without DeSean Jackson or Alshon Jeffery for chunks of 2019. I'm extremely confident that there'll be a talented wide receiver on the board for them at No. 21, but with Todd McShay's most recent mock draft projecting four wideouts to come off the board before then, the Eagles might need to trade up if they want someone like Henry Ruggs III. ESPN's NFL draft predictor tool says Ruggs has a 99% chance of being available here and just a 3% chance of being on the board at No. 21.

Sam Darnold, but given their needs and a run of dismal drafts in years past, he might need to buy in bulk. Trading down would give them an opportunity to add somebody at No. 21 and another wideout with what would be one of three third-round picks. The unrelated Rasul Douglas would be a flier to compete at cornerback in the final year of his rookie deal.

It was there. Just looked again and it’s gone. Definitely something there though.
